The National Association of Credit Union Service Organizations (Nacuso) has opened registration for Reimagine 2027, its annual conference, which runs from 30 March-2 April, 2027, at Wynn & Encore Las Vegas.
After record-breaking attendance at this year’s Reimagine, Nachos says the next event has been designed to help credit union executives, board members, credit union service organisation (cuso) founders and investors work together around one question: “what’s possible?”
“The credit union movement is at a crossroads,” said Randy Salser, president and CEO of Nacuso. “We see competition from every angle, we see the number of credit unions contracting, and we see potential members going elsewhere. It could be easy to focus on what’s being done to us, around us, and worry about the future. Reimagine flips that whole concept on its head
“Reimagine is exclusively focused on what we can do, together; as credit unions, as cusos, as lawmakers. If you‘ve ever had a big idea, Reimagine’s where you’ll meet the people and organisations who can make it a reality. I believe there’s an incredible future ahead for our system if we focus on what’s possible, and work collaboratively to achieve it.”
To maximise the impact and value for attendees, the Reimagine 2027 agenda has been organised into four tracks: operations, insurance and wealth management, commercial and member business lending, and technology. Sessions are open to every attendee regardless of their focus, but the intent is to provide a more curated experience, says Nacuso.
The operations track will look at governance, shared services, cuso launch, and build-buy-invest decisions.
Insurance and wealth management will look at whether and how to bring insurance and wealth management capability to members.
Commercial and member business lending will look at collaborative business models, participations, underwriting and risk oversight.
Technology will look at fintech partnerships, data and AI, core integration and third-party risk.
The programme also includes the Next Big Idea competition, the Cuso of the Year awards, an accelerator showcase, and scheduled one-to-one meetings between credit unions and solution providers.
