The first-ever global standard for safe and reliable Banking Products for children & youth could soon be with us.
Child and Youth Finance International (“ChildFinance International”) is an NGO that aims to facilitate access to child-friendly bank accounts and financial education for 100 million children in 100 countries by 2015.
Child-friendly banking focuses on the empowerment and protection of children. Recognising children as stakeholders and possible users of Banking Products by financial institutions is very important as it not only ensures the protection of children but also increases their opportunities allowing them to become increasingly empowered to make positive changes in their lives.
