COMMUNITY groups in northern England have received £ 2,450 from three charity concerts organised by the Co-operative Group.
A concert at Burnley Mechanics raised £ 750 for Building Bridges, which aims to bring together people from different faiths and cultures.
Doncaster's Richard Foundation received over £ 1,000 after a concert at St George's Parish Church. It is raising funds to build a children's hospice.
Another £ 700 was raised at a concert in St Paul's Parish Church, Barnsley, for the Co-operative Group's charity of the year ? the Association of Children's Hospices.
