COMMUNITY groups in northern England have received &#163 2,450 from three charity concerts organised by the Co-operative Group.
A concert at Burnley Mechanics raised &#163 750 for Building Bridges, which aims to bring together people from different faiths and cultures.
Doncaster&#039s Richard Foundation received over &#163 1,000 after a concert at St George&#039s Parish Church. It is raising funds to build a children&#039s hospice.
Another &#163 700 was raised at a concert in St Paul&#039s Parish Church, Barnsley, for the Co-operative Group&#039s charity of the year ? the Association of Children&#039s Hospices.
