New marketing chief at Midcounties’ travel arm

Katie Blunt joins the society from Central England Co-op, where she spent five years as communications manager

Midcounties Co-operative has appointed Katie Blunt as brand and marketing manager for its travel division, which operates 58 high street branches.

Ms Blunt moves to Midcounties after five years as marketing communications manager for Central England Co-operative.

Blunt has more than 15 years’ marketing experience at retail and not-for-profit organisations; she has held posts at M&S and John Lewis and has developed tactical digital and social marketing for the public and charity sector.
