ABCUL creates mobile app for its credit union training suite

Users will now be able to access the service – which includes compliance content and a learning management system – when they are on the move

The ABCUL Academy – a training suite for credit unions – is now available for mobile users through an app.

The suite was developed by the Association of British Credit Unions, incorporating a learning management system, compliance content and training modules specific to British credit unions.

Thanks to the new SkillsServe app, users will be able to access the training suite through smartphones and tablets when they are on the move,

It is available for iOS and Android, and allows users to track their learning on the My Activities page, to view online content in the ABCUL Academy, and to download content to watch when offline.

To get started, registered users of the ABCUL Academy should search for SkillsServe in the App Store or Play Store, download the app, and upon opening it, enter their ABCUL Academy username, password and the url: https://www.abculacademy.coop.

Since its launch a year ago, the ACBUL academy has seen 849 users from 96 different credit unions sign up to benefit from its comprehensive choice of training modules and learning pathways.

Content is frequently refreshed to help credit union personnel at all levels keep up to date with the latest developments and best practice.

The ABCUL Academy is available to all credit unions when they join the association and costs just £55 per user per year.

All Academy courses – including new ones added throughout the year – are included in the annual fee. For more information, email [email protected] or call 0161 832 3694.
