Bristol New Economy Summit 2015

Today’s mainstream economy We depend on a global financial industrial system with immense productive capacity, but we’re hitting the physical limits of the earth’s systems – climate change looms, allocation of resources is very unequal, dissent is growing.

The good news: Many people are already exploring alternative ways of living and organising which offer other possible futures. What could the future look like for money, business, ownership, cities, in an economy fit for people and planet?

JOIN US TO EXPLORE THE NEW ECONOMY. We’ll be joined by experts and practitioners from Bristol, the UK and beyond for two days of learning, participating and connecting.

The event is designed for anyone interested in how we move towards a fair economy bounded by the reality of a finite planet.

Getting to At-Bristol

*This price is intended for people on no wage, or a low wage without savings. As a guideline, the UK Living Wage is currently £7.85/hour.

**Funding a ticket for somebody else to attend: Choosing this option enables you to donate a ticket for for a person who is unable to afford the cost of a ticket. This is NOT for purchasing tickets for people that you know, where you wish to purchase a ticket on their behalf as part or your party (in this case, simply increase the quantity of Standard or Concession tickets in your order). When you fund a ticket for somebody you don’t know to attend, we add this fee to our available costs covering access for those applying for funded places at the conference, and will ensure that your purchase means that 1 additional person may attend the event, upon their successful application to the fund.
