If you couldn't make it to the International Co-operative Governance Symposium in Halifax, you can still learn from the academic and co-op sector experts who participated at the event.
The symposium's organizers have posted links to most of the presentations on the symposium website at http://s.coop/1c868.
The page also contains a link to an updated list of registered participants, the majority of whom were co-op practitioners.
Karen Miner, managing director of co-operative management education at Saint Mary's University and co-organizer of the symposium, said she was "thrilled" by the outcome of the event.
"I was a bit surprised that practitioners were in the majority, but I worked hard to make sure that people from the sector were here," she said, adding that she received a lot of positive feedback. "I hope we'll see some of the key messages from this at the ICA and at the Summit next year. There aren't many gatherings on co-op governance that bring together such a diverse group."
