Placemats, purses and an iPad2 are just some of the items on sale in the brand new Co-operative Development Foundation of Canada’s Co-op Week online auction.
Money from the auction will go towards helping co-ops and credit unions in the developing world and bidding began Monday 15 October.
The items on sale vary from a weekend getaway in Canada’s capital Ottawa, to a 2012 package containing two ‘I heart my CU’ t-shirts, coffee and a tote bag.

The Co-operative Development Foundation of Canada (CDF) is the charity of choice for Canadian co-ops and credit unions. CDF raises money to support the development of co-operatives and credit unions in Africa, Asia, and the Americas.
The money raised by CDF is primarily used by the Canadian Co-operative Association (CCA), in its efforts to reduce poverty around the world. CCA is a national association representing co-operatives and credit unions in Canada.
The bidding will run until noon on 19 October.
