Between Oct. 8 and 11, more than two thousand cooperative business leaders from 92 countries watched attended sessions of the International Summit of Cooperatives in Quebec. There, they shared and commented upon the results of research on cooperatives and heard comments on cooperative enterprise from the likes of Dame Pauline Green, Quebec’s Prime Minister Pauline Marois and former US Secretary of State Madeline Albright.
NCBA interim President and Chief Executive Officer Liz Bailey moderated a panel evaluating results of research on cooperatives produced by McKinsey & Company; NCBA Vice President of International Development Amy Coughenour participated in the forum called “Intercoopération North-South.”
The Credit Union National Association published a blog post on the panel moderated by Liz Bailey, which can be found here.
Images from several of the conference sessions have been posted to NCBA’s Facebook page.
