Economics for 99%: Co-operatives in Victoria will provide snapshots of the past, present and future of the co-operative. Hosted by Cardijn Community Australia, the event will feature several notable speakers as part of the Big Co-op Conversations series.

Economics for 99%: Co-operatives in Victoria will provide snapshots of the past, present and future of the co-operative. Hosted by Cardijn Community Australia, the event will feature several notable speakers as part of the Big Co-op Conversations series.

Speakers will include; the Hon Race Mathews, author of Jobs of our own,  Shelley Marshall from Monash University, and Dave Kerin from the Earthworker Co-operative.

Wayne McGough, spokesperson of Cardijn Community Australia, said "I am excited that we are finally responding to redress the drift that has seen so much income and wealth in the hands of so few. Co-operatives help restore the balance to the little people."

Where: Victorian Trades Hall Council, cnr Victoria and Lygon Streets, Carlton South

Cost: $10 by donation
