A special issue Collaboratory Meetup will be held Tuesday, 31 July to discuss role of co-operatives in addressing social and environmental issues. The Collaboratory hosts panel discussions at Hub Melbourne each month, inviting a selection of guests to share their experience in collaborative initiatives.

A special issue Collaboratory Meetup will be held Tuesday, 31 July to discuss role of co-operatives in addressing social and environmental issues. The Collaboratory hosts panel discussions at Hub Melbourne each month, inviting a selection of guests to share their experience in collaborative initiatives.

It will feature panelists from several leading Australian co-operatives; Goulburn Valley Food Co-operative, Earthworker Co-operative, Hepburn Wind and bankmecu .  

Where: Hub Melbourne, Level 3, Donkey Wheel House, 673 Bourke St, Melbourne

When: Tuesday, 31 July, 6pm-8pm.

Cost: $20.00*

* Registration will include beer, wine and light snacks. Doors will open at 6pm, panel begins at 6:30pm

The panel will discuss the collaborative principles of the cooperative business model, how cooperatives do business differently and how they can help us to think differently about the roles of business and the community in building our futures.
