All organisations that are part of the broader global co-operative movement, from first tier co-operatives to sectoral or representative organisations, can now refer participants for the “Future co-operative Leaders” Program of the International Summit of Co-operatives until Monday, April 30, 2012. Each actor of the global co-operative movement is invited to present up to 2 candidates who will be between the ages of 25 and 30 at the time of the Summit, and who participate in a co-operative as an employee or elected director. In order to refer a participant to the Summit, co-operatives need only send a short biography (300 to 400 words) describing the candidate’s experience and strengths to the email address appearing at the bottom of this article. The Summit will be a rich environment for interaction between co-operators from around the globe. Participation in the “Future Co-operative Leaders” program will be an occasion for those participants representing the most promising new talents of the co-operative movement to meet and hear from the most prominent and respected co-operative CEOs and experts. To take cognizance of the details concerning the selection of participants and the application process, please consult the Program’s website or contact Stephanie Guico at [email protected].
