Closing the conference will be an expert who will discuss his use of media to help enact change throughout the world. Philippe Cousteau, Jr., the grandson of oceanographer Jacques-Yves Cousteau, will round off the conference with his closing address. Mr Cousteau's will look at his work through the consultancy EarthEcho International. The 2003 film Everglades, which Cousteau produced, co-directed and was a writer for, reached 500,000 students and received a National Education Award nomination. Prior to the final keynote speaker of the conference, the ICA will look at where the movement wants to be by 2020. Topics will include how co-operatives should be perceived in 2020 by the public, in the media, by their members, by governments and what we need to be doing now to fulfil this vision. In the afternoon, the ICA's General Assembly will conduct statutory business around the areas of elections of global Board members to fill some vacancies, approval of statutes for a number of ICA regions, and the discussion of a number of resolutions, including a proposal to vote Rochdale as the Global Capital of co-operatives.  This will be followed by information on the next ICA General Assembly, along with the traditional closing gala dinner. • For further coverage of the ICA's General Assembly, follow our special page dedicated to the conference.
