The website‚ www.co-operativepharmacy.co.uk‚ has teamed up with The-Clinic.com to offer medical diagnoses and treatments to customers.
In addition, an extended range of premium health and beauty brands will be sold online and customers can complete a health assessment to learn how they can live more healthily. Appointments for biometric health testing can also be booked at Co-operative Pharmacy branches via the website.
The tests include blood pressure checks, total cholesterol and blood glucose.
Mandeep Mudhar, Head of Business Development at The Co-operative Pharmacy, said: “The health of customers and their families is extremely important to us and with our new online offering we will be giving our customers greater support in managing their health.”
The website will also include an A-Z health directory and NHS Direct symptom checker. As well as sections dedicated to mother and baby essentials plus male health and grooming, customers will be able to purchase medical electrical items, pet medicines and independent living aids online.
