Dealerships win rebrand award

Alison Ottaway,  Brand Development Manager, said the award represented a great endorsement and recognition by the industry and added: “The re-brand was about so much more than simply changing dealership fascia or the detail on car number plates; it was about communicating the Co-operative difference at every step of the way.”

The award was presented to Mike Austin (pictured), Managing Director of the Group’s Specialist Commercial Businesses division by event host Kate Silverton, the BBC News presenter, who said the judges had been impressed by the Motor Group’s entrepreneurial approach to the re-branding, which had led to a rise in showroom inquiries and a boost to mystery-shop scores.
