The food stores, under The Co-operative brand, have opened in Burghley Centre, Bourne, and Littleport, Ely. The food stores, under The Co-operative brand, have opened in Burghley Centre, Bourne, and Littleport, Ely. The Bourne outlet was a replacement for the nearby Rainbow food store, while Ely was the first new store opened in two years, which has created 60 jobs.

In Bedford, the society opened a travel agency within the Beales department store, which has created four jobs and is the third store to be opened this year.

The society also added an extra funeral home to its estate after the acquisition of Coley and Sons, of Crowland. The acquisition means Anglia now has 23 funeral homes across Greater Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and South Lincolnshire.
