Midlands grab gold

Midlands Co-op’s Health and Safety team has received the Gold Award for Occupational Safety and Health, from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).

The award, which has been given to the society for the second time, was handed out due to the way the society manages safety and its declining accident rates.

Tony Higgins, Health and Safety Manager, said: “The health and safety team is leading the way in providing sensible risk management advice that really helps the business, as well as continuing to protect the safety of its employees and customers.”
