The white bunting comes from Fairtrade cotton which has been hand-woven in the village of K. V. Kuppam, India.
Fabrics used by Bishopston start as a non-GM seed grown organically in the Kutch area of Gujerat in North India.
The spun cotton is transported by lorry to K.V. Kuppam where it is dyed (using non-Azo dyes) and then handwoven, or woven on small powerlooms into fabrics such as calico and denim.
