The Co-operative Group is launching a Truly Irresistible English Apple Crush drink — the latest addition to its “Grown by us” range, which features products produced by the society’s farms.
The Group’s farming business provides produce, ambient products and beverages, which are labelled “Grown by us, Britain’s largest farmer”. This range is available in selected stores.
The English Apple Crush is one of the newest additions to the Group’s Truly Irresistible range, made with 70 per cent apple juice and sparkling spring water. The apples are grown and harvested at Tillington in Herefordshire and are the Holy Red Falstaff variety, selected for their distinctive aromatic flavour.
The “Grown by us” range already includes strawberries, potatoes, peas, flour, onions and pumpkins (in season). The farm in Herefordshire also supplies traditional English apples for the Tillington Hills Premium Dry Reserve Cider.
