RADSTOCK Co-op were finalists in the ‘Vocational Rehabilitation’ category at the inaugural occupational health awards ceremony arranged by the Occupational Health Journal.

The awards ceremony was held at London’s Riverbank Plaza Hotel and the society was represented by Head of Human Resources, Vicki Przytocki; Chief Executive Alan Bonner and Sheri Smart, training and HR adviser.

Category judge Judith Howard-Rees, director of Gipping Occupational Health, said Radstock’s entry was “an example of employer leadership and use of an independent occupational health nurse consultant which emphasised the specialist expertise used to create the vital link between the NHS and the employer’s duty of care”.

Although the award went to Tate & Lyle, the society were commended for their pro-active approach to managing employee welfare.
