Jemima Tomlinson, Director of Brand and one of the main faces behind the Co-operative brand, has left the Co-operative Group.

Having joined CRS in 1996 as General Store Manager at the Chingford Food Store, Ms Tomlinson has held a number of posts in the society over the intervening 12 years.

In her post she played a key role in the development and implementation of the Co-operative brand which is helping transform the way members and customers view the society.

Patrick Allen, Director of Marketing, said: “I am sure that Jemima will look back on her time at the society as an exciting period in the Group’s history, when the foundations were laid for the growth and development we all expect to see over the next few years.

”On behalf of the Group, I would like to thank Jemima for the important contribution she has made to the modernisation of our image and the revitalisation of our membership offer and to wish her well for the future.”

“As a result of Jemima’s decision to leave the society, I am reviewing the management structure within the Brand Team and an announcement on this matter will be made in due course.”
