TWENTY convenience stores have been acquired by East of England Co-op.
The society has acquired Anglian Convenience Store food group in Norfolk, which increases its portfolio of stores to 137.
The 20 c-stores stores are located in Norwich, Lowestoft, King’s Lynn, Caister-on-Sea, Clenchwarton, Beccles, East Dereham, Heacham, Hellesdon, Harleston, Long Stratton, Martham and Wymondham.
The acquisition is an integral part of the major development programme announced in October by Richard Samson on his appointment as Chief Executive at the society.
