ITV is looking for people who were involved in the co-operative holiday camp at Rogerson Hall in Corton, near Lowestoft.
A regional programme based on the camp is being made for its The Way We Were series, which studies social history by connecting archive film with people who appear in the original footage.
The episode will be based around a film produced to celebrate the opening of the camp in the summer of 1938. During the seven week season the camp hosted 1,300 guests and the film, from the National Co-operative Film Archive, shows holiday makers enjoying the facilities.
There is another film ITV will be using in its programme called Pathfinders Camp. It is a record of the Kessingland Youth Camp in August 1951, which was organised by the Gravesend, Gillingham, Royal Arsenal and Grays co-operative societies and shows scenes at camp, rambles, sports day and a visit to the Co-operative Wholesale Society canning factory at Lowestoft.
Anyone who was involved with the camps or knows more about its history should contact Gillian Lonergan on 0161 246 2925, or send an email.
