HEART of England Co-op shopworker Jacqui Pinnock was celebrating recently when she clinched an award in the OSCAS.
The society&#039s employee of the year awards ceremony, the OSCAS (Outstanding Service to Customers and Staff), saw Jacqui, from the Market Bosworth Lateshop, win the overall achievement award.

Now in its fourth year, the awards recognise staff across all the society&#039s divisions who have worked exceptionally hard to provide a truly superior service to customers or fellow employees, whether in a lead or supporting role.

Jacqui received &#163 1,000 worth of vouchers, which she is to spend on a holiday, for her calm approach to carrying out her responsibilities and those of her absent store manager.

Jacqui said: "I am just thrilled. I love my job and always do my utmost to provide the best level of service as possible. As far as I am concerned this is just part of the job. The fact that I have been recognised for the level of service I provide is fantastic."

Society Chief Executive Ali Kurji commented: "This year&#039s Awards ceremony certainly topped all others. The location was fantastic and the fact that we were able to accommodate so many further members of staff was tremendous.

"Our staff are our very lifeblood and at the core of our continuing success as a Society and we congratulate each and every one of them for their valuable contribution."
