TRIUMPHANT staff from the Scottish Co-op store in Shawlands cross the finishing line at the Co-op jogscotland five kilometre challenge in Glasgow ? after carrying a huge water cannister round the entire course.
Shawlands Co-op manager Henry Jackson and his team took turns running with the 25 litre can on their heads to raise awareness of the new ethical water, One, and the countless African women who walk these distances daily to access clean water.
Almost 100 Scottish Co-op staff were among the 1,249 joggers in Glasgow Green.
Mr Jackson said: "It was a real struggle getting round the course with the jerry can on our heads but we got there in the end. All the staff really enjoyed themselves on what was a lovely summer evening in Glasgow."
As well as the Glasgow race, Scottish Co-op sponsored jogscotland events in Aberdeen and Edinburgh.
