CONGRESS President and Labour/Co-op MP Meg Munn worked up a sweat for Sport Relief by taking a one mile run for the charity.
Ms Munn, MP for Sheffield Heeley, (pictured centre) joined MPs and peers for the Westminster Mile around St James&#039s Park in London.
Other Co-op MPs wo swapped their suits for shorts included Sarah McCarthy Fry, Andy Love, and Andy Reed.
Ms Munn, who completed her run in less than nine minutes, told the News: "Sport Relief is such a good way to raise money for Comic Relief and the mile run is open for everyone to take part in."
Labour/Co-op MP for Loughborough, Mr Reed said: "We have had around 100 MPs taking part in this run around Westminster and I hope it will inspire people locally to do something to raise money on Sport Relief Saturday on 15th July. Let&#039s face it, if 100 MPs can do something, I am confident that people locally can do even better!"
The national run will take place on July 15th. To go the extra mile on Sport Relief Saturday visit www.sportrelief.com to find out more.
