A POST Office has been saved from closure by Plymouth and South West Co-op.
Shoppers in Plympton were due to lose their local branch on the Ridgeway shopping precinct, until the society stepped in to retain the community&#039s service.
The society moved the Post Office to its supermarket in the town and has improved it with a brighter, more modern appearance and better access for customers.
Tim Pearce, Chief Operating Officer, Food Group, said: "We are already experienced in successfully operating a number of other Post Office branches and are committed to delivering high standards of customer service in well presented branches."
