LINCOLNSHIRE Co-operative has finished a major internal re-construction of the food store in Crowland, south Lincolnshire.
It converted an old-fashioned rabbit-warren of a store into a bright modern convenience store. The £ 500,000, three-stage development – which includes a spacious residential flat created from a shell that was previously unoccupied – presented the greatest challenge yet to the society's store development team.
The food store now stocks 3,000 lines, with a digital CCTV system, modern refrigeration, new energy saving lights and new style checkouts.
