BAYWIND Co-operative, the UK&#039s largest and oldest community energy company, will be opening its gates to the public.
Haverigg wind farm in Cumbria will take part in the first ever nationwide, simultaneous opening of wind farms in support of Embrace the Revolution, the national campaign for wind energy.
Everyone is invited to come along to Haverigg wind farm and join thousands of others across the UK putting their hands up in support of wind energy and Touch a Turbine.
Visitors to Haverigg wind farm can take part in fun activities and learn more about how renewable energy is tackling climate change – the greatest threat facing our planet. They will also receive goodies such as mini windmills, badges and balloons.
