TO celebrate the start of building work on a new Co-op Solar supermarket at Long Stratton, Ipswich &Norwich Society President Beryl Fulcher officially launched the project by laying an engraved foundation stone at the front of the new building.
The store ? near the busy A140 Ipswich to Norwich road ? will offer a full supermarket range with the expectation that it will draw a substantial element of food shopping back to the village.
The 13,616 sq. ft. building will have parking space for 126 cars including provision for the disabled and parents with children.
