LABOUR/Co-op MP David Drew has opened Oxford, Swindon & Gloucester Society&#039s new &#163 900,000 purpose -built childcare nursery at Cainscross near Stroud.

The facility, part of OSG&#039s imagine childcare business and the society&#039s fifth nursery in all, can accommodate 61 children aged from three months to five years old and offers a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment for all children.

The new nursery has created 20 jobs and is open from 7.30am to 6pm weekdays (also offering weekday out of school care) and costs will always be set at affordable levels.

At each imagine nursery, parents and carers are able to join a consultative group and have a direct say in the running of the nursery their child attends.

In our picture, local MP David Drew cuts a special imagine cake with OSG&#039s Group General Manager, childcare, Carol Jenkins, watched by Chief Executive Bob Burlton plus children and staff.
