WHEN Scottish Co-op supervisor Mike Cummings said he wanted to do something different for his 50th birthday, his wife didn&#039t know he meant swimming with sharks.
Mike, who works in the Scottish Co-op&#039s Glenrothes store, braved the sharks and raised funds for the Children&#039s Hospice Association of Scotland (CHAS).
"It&#039s something I&#039ve always wanted to do and turning 50 seemed like a good time. Once I had decided to take the plunge I thought of CHAS and decided to turn it into a fundraising event," said Mike.
"I&#039ve had a lot of support from friends and colleagues at Scottish Co-op and in the end, the total has come to more that &#163 550," he added.
Scottish Co-op staff have raised more than &#163 250,000 for CHAS in campaigns in the past two years.
