THE Co-operative Group has opened a new £ 2.5 million showpiece supermarket in Studley, Warwickshire, creating 10 new jobs.
Pupils of Studley Community Infants School performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony and were presented with a donation of £ 500 for their school's funds by store manager Mike Challacombe.
The store, which replaces the existing Co-op in Studley, will offer new facilities and services including a cash machine, parent and child facilities, customer toilets and a photo booth. There is also parking for 85 vehicles and provision for disabled shoppers.
