SANTA has made his grand appearance at Midlands Co-op's Chesterfield department store in a vintage fire engine.
The sound of sleigh bells started ringing for customers also at the Stafford and Derby stores when Santa made his appearance.
Hundreds of people came along and greeted Santa as he arrived at each store. Children's entertainers came along to amuse the crowd as well as snow machines to add a magical winter-wonderland feel to the occasion.
Children can come and chat to Santa at Midlands Co-op Department Store's in Chesterfield, Stafford and Derby until Christmas Eve.
