TRAVELCARE staff have been having fun while raising almost &#163 7,000 for sick children.
Seventeen teams of staff from Travelcare branches in North West and North East England, took part in an It&#039s A Knockout competition in aid of the Association of Children&#039s Hospices.
Held at the Manchester Rugby Club in Cheadle Hulme, the event was a fun and exciting day out for all concerned, with staff competing in a number of competitions including obstacle challenges.
Co-operative Group-owned Travelcare is aiming to raise a total of &#163 100,000 for the Association of Children&#039s Hospices by organising a range of sponsored events nationwide.
The money raised by each branch will directly benefit the nearest hospice or help fund home care in its area.
The Travelcare challenge is part of an ambitious staff charity push by the Co-operative Group, which hopes to raise &#163 500,000 for the Association of Children&#039s Hospices over the summer.
