OVER 550 guests attended the annual United Co-op Travel Awards Night in Bolton where Alistair Rowland, United Co-op Travel Group General Manager Retail, presented a clutch of awards.
Modern Apprentice of the Year Awards and Club 18-30 holidays went to Scott Cooper from Droylsden Co-op Travel and Samantha Marsden, Banner Cross Co-op Travel, for first and second year students respectively.
It was a double celebration for Bury Co-op Travel where Joanne Robinson won Divisional Manager of the Year and a long haul holiday for two and colleague Michelle Counebear scooped the title of Foreign Exchange Bureau of the Year and tickets for a short haul holiday.
Caroline Frost from Talke Co-op Travel (pictured with Alistair Rowland) won Divisional Travel Adviser of the Year while Colette McWha from Ormskirk Co-op Travel won Divisional Customer Service Manager of the Year. Each won a short haul holiday for two.
Sue Jones clinched the title of Regional Manager of the Year and tickets for a long haul holiday.
Regional Branches of the Year winners were Northwich, Wallasey, Chestergate, Bury, Warrington Superstore and Worksop.
