ICA becoming more aggressive on public policy issues: D-G Charles Gould tells Montreal conference:

In an address to the co-operative research and education conference organised by Canada’s two national co-operative associations – the Canadian Co-operative Association (CCA) and the Conseil canadien de la coopération et de la mutualité – Chuck Gould reported that co-operatives are recognised in the final agreement from Rio last week as important to solving the challenges facing sustainable development, in three separate areas: poverty reduction; agricultural practices; and job creation.
