Participants in the International Summit of Cooperatives in Quebec City in October will get more than panels, workshops and discussions about the co-operative movement: they’ll also get to see a special performance by Cirque du Soleil.
The internationally recognized circus arts troupe will perform the unique show as part of the Summit gala dinner on Wednesday, October 10th.
Chantal Côté, Head of Public Relations for Cirque du Soleil, is keeping the special show a mystery. She said: “Details of our performance at the Summit are not available and won’t be disclosed in advance.”
Cirque du Soleil, which was established in Montreal in 1984, has had a close relationship with Desjardins Group, the key organizer and co-host of the Summit. ”Desjardins Group has been a partner with Cirque du Soleil since the very beginning of our company,” Ms. Côté added.
