Co-op Group announces results of Member‘s Council elections

The council works closely with the board and executive to ensure the business benefits members and communities

The Co-op Group  has published the results of this year’s Member Council elections, which saw candidates stand across 11 of its constituencies.

The council is made up of 100 members from around the UK, including colleagues. It meets in Manchester on a regular basis and works closely with the board and executive to ensure the business benefits members and communities. A total of 25 candidates were elected to the council.

The results are:

North West

The following members were elected:

Lois McClure (elected for three years)

Jan Barnett (elected for three years)

Alan Sandham (elected for three years)

South West

The following members were elected:

Heather Baker (elected for three years)

Susan Milestone (elected for three years)

Andrew Wade (elected for three years)

South East

The following members were elected:

Paul Newman (elected for three years)

Adrienne Lowe (elected for three years)

Dilys Barratt (elected for three years)

London

The following members were elected:

Denise Scott-McDonald (elected for three years)

Lynda McDonald (elected for three years)

Scotland

The following members were elected:

Struan Ferguson (elected for three years)

Susan Wilson (elected for three years)

Linda Dunbar (elected for three years)

Cymru/Wales

The following members were elected:

Zoe Selby (elected for three years)

East of England
