In the lead up to its AGM in May, the Co-operative Group is holding a series of free, open meetings for members in cities around the UK.

Hosted by the members’ council, the 12 regional meetings are a chance for Group members to tell the council “more about those issues which matter most to you as an owner of the Co-op”, says the Group.

“We’re running these meetings during Fairtrade Fortnight, which gives us a great opportunity to share some of our amazing Fairtrade stories.”

Attendees will hear presentations on the performance of the business and the rebuild programme, and find out about voting and taking part in the forthcoming AGM and elections.

The events will also host the co-operative’s ‘taste and tell’ teams to share new products and hear feedback.

There is no trading eligibility requirement to attend these meetings and they are open to all members of the Co-operative Group.
