The water should be freely flowing at a number of homes in rural St. Clair County by this time next year. A new water cooperative, Concordia Water Cooperative, has been formed and water line construction will begin next year. For about 170 households in the region around rural Millstadt and Stookey Township, this will mean no longer relying solely on wells for water.
