The Co-operative Group has welcomed an announcement by Leicester City Council that it supports the society’s proposals for a new purpose-built eco-town on its land in Leicestershire, subject to certain conditions being met.


The Co-operative Group has submitted a new masterplan to the Department for Communities and Local Government as part of its bid to build an eco-friendly town on Group-owned land in Leicestershire in conjunction with English Partnerships.
