THE Co-operative Group’s brand campaign featuring Bob Dylan’s iconic Blowin’ in the Wind anthem has won a prestigious green award.


THE Co-op brand has been named as the most ethical in the UK. Research by Gfk NOP said Co-op stores, including Co-operative Financial Services, is seen by shoppers as the most ethical brand in the country.

A CALL centre set up to handle the new Co-operative Group membership scheme has received thousands of calls from members, many just praising the scheme . The telephone service centre in Coventry has dealt with up to 3,000 calls a day from members since the beginning of a mailing exercise which involved over two million packs being sent out.

THE Co-op has topped a survey on supermarkets' corporate social responsibility carried out on behalf of The Grocer magazine. Some 2,120 shoppers were questioned by Harris Interactive about retailers' green credentials and socially responsible initiatives.
