It has been a busy week for co-ops from all over the world. In the US, co-operators share their reactions to meeting at the White House, Co-operatives UK released a report on the advantages of media co-operatives and Australia celebrated changes in co-operative law.

First we take a look back at the National Briefing meeting at the White House last Friday, where 150 co-op leaders attended Washington DC, to meet with the Obama Administration.

Across the pond Co-operatives UK released a report, entitled Good News, by Dave Boyle, on how media co-operatives could save a dwindling newspaper industry. They followed this up with a live interview on Twitter.

In Alberta, Canada the Alberta Community and Co-operative Association’s discussed what the co-operative movement could do for Canada's 150th birthday and to celebrate the work they have achieved over the year.
