In this International Year of Cooperatives, the International Cooperative and Mutual Insurance Federation (ICMIF) celebrated its 90th anniversary on April 25, 2012.
The 3 co-hosts of the International Summit of Cooperatives – Desjardins Group, the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA) and Saint Mary's University – would like to highlight the tremendous work accomplished by ICMIF over the last 90 years in promoting the cooperative and mutualist model in the global insurance market.
ICMIF is a great example of an organization that evolved with the times to remain relevant to all its members.
