Co-operative Group's Secretary joins 'inspirational' women

The women, who hold leading roles in business, media, the arts and politics, gathered at Manchester Town Hall to discuss new ways of removing workplace barriers and helping women achieve equality.

Ms Lees, who is also Secretary of Co-operative Financial Services, is a member of the Group's Executive and has worked for the Group since 1981.  She said: "I was honoured to be selected for this event and I hope my progress in the organisation serves as an example to other women who aspire to senior positions in this business."
