The tour aimed to highlight how the EU is helping to promote local products such as Blue Stilton cheese, which is now recognised as a product of Protected Designation of Origin (PDO).
Ms Flint chatted to store staff, members, customers and producers during her visit and sampled some of the Co-operative’s own-label Stilton, produced locally at the award-winning Clawson Creamery.
