About 800 women belonging to a self-help group have been cheated of Rs. 2,750 each by four people including three women managing a fake health care center.
Police say they have already recovered Rs five lakh from them.
The accused had lured the members of the self-help group into paying them money as membership fee on the promise that they would get them each a loan of Rs one lakh.
Police have arrested all the four and further investigations are in progress.
