CBI’s arrest of former MD and some other people of the UP processing and construction cooperative federation has added a new dimension to the whole NHRM scandal.
Among other things, one of the charges levelled against them is they favoured an ailing firm CNC Metal Forming that represented financial interests of a man close to the former UP minister Kushwaha.
Sources say the new govt in Lucknow has made a resolution to weed out the undesirable elements that seem to have tightened their stranglehold on the cooperative movement in the state.
