A nine-year partnership between the Phone Co-op and Midcounties Co-operative has been renewed.

The Co-operative Business Telecoms, the business services arm of the Phone Co-op, has won the contract to supply phone services to the Warwick-based retail society, which has 540 trading sites across Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Buckinghamshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Wiltshire, Worcestershire and West Midlands.

This is the third time, the co-operative has been successful with the tender, having supplied services to Midcounties since the organisation was set up in 2006 as a result of a merger.

Aaron Clayton, head of group technology and operations at Midcounties, said: “We are pleased to renew our contract with the Co-operative Business Telecoms, they have provided excellent service to us and are a very flexible provider who allow us to be agile in a fast paced marketplace.”

Guy Ohlenschlager, corporate sales manager at the provider, added: “Our shared values are important. We see working with Midcounties as a partnership to provide the best service and solutions.”
